WFSA Fellowship Programmes

The WFSA offers Fellowship Training Programmes for young anaesthetists from low income countries around the world. To see a list of fellowships currently open for application, please click here

A suitable applicant should fit the following criteria:

  • Must be fully trained in anaesthesia in home country
  • Must be supported in their application by their own National Society of Anaesthesia
  • Must be supported in their application by Chief of their home department of anaesthesia
  • Must be returning to home country to a recognized post
  • Must be under 40 years of age
  • Should preferably be working in a teaching hospital
  • The courses are intended mainly for young anaesthesiologists from the geographical region near where the course is based.
