What training is offered?
Two components:
(a) practical skills in anaesthesia for adult/paediatric/neonatal patients undergoing cardiac surgery; cardiac catheterization, interventional procedures including trans oesophageal echocardiography, invasive monitoring and postoperative care.
(b) Knowledge base providing sound theoretical founding for cardiac anaesthesia based on the prescribed curriculum.

How is training assessed?
(a)Monthly tests and exit examination at the end
(b) log book to be maintained
(c) 80% attendance mandatory in both clinical and academic sessions
(d) leave rules as per the institutional protocol

Are there any specific admission criteria for applicants?
MD anaesthesia or equivalent + temporary registration in MCI
