What training is offered?
The main aim of the fellowship is to provide training in thoracic anaesthesia, but there will also be opportunities to get experience in cardiac anaesthesia and cardiothoracic intensive care.

The fellow will have rotation in the operation theatre, critical care unit, and daily follow-up of postoperative patients.

In addition to practical training, theoretical knowledge will be imparted through: 

1.  Faculty lectures (clinical physiology, pathophysiology, case-specific anaesthesia)

2. Case Studies  

3. Journal clubs

How is training assessed?

Assessment will be done through an exit exam and log book review

Are there any specific admission criteria for applicants?

The selected applicant will need to obtain temporary registration from the Medical Council of India. The fellowship is open to qualified anaesthesiologists from low income countries
